IGN Reviews: Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 (PSP)

Konami got the PSP right this year and WE PES 2007 improves on last year's title in almost every way. While it doesn't offer the full set of controls as its console counterparts, this version is one of the best sports games on the PSP. There are still plenty of awesome goals thanks to combination passing and blistering shots. The inclusion of Master League was an obvious must. Visually, WE is a bit fuzzy, but looks about as good as the PS2 title. The lack of commentary is not a terrible loss if you've played this game for years, like we have. We hope to see online play and Master League connectivity next year. Despite the numerous flaws, WE remains the best soccer option on the PSP in terms of gameplay. We would like to see significant improvement from Konami in the seasons to come, but as it stands, Winning Eleven is still a winner. Enjoy it.
