Mortal Kombat Heading to DS

First Wii, now DS. In an event held in Las Vegas, Midway announced that they will be releasing a Mortal Kombat game on Nintendo's handheld, the DS. Nothing it known about the title, but hopefully we can expect it to be an original title, unlike the port coming to the Wii in the near future.

Also, Midway announced that if the Virtual Console continues to gain popularity, they might consider releasing the Mortal Kombat games that were released on Nintendo platforms way back then.

Midway continues to show ongoing support on the Nintendo systems. Let's hope it stays this way.
